can anyone compare the sound with frpp borlas to older mustang with borlas. I know i loved the 99-04 4.6 with borlas. Just wondering if it is the same deep throaty sound. I had the bassanis on my 05. They were awesome. But just interested if the borla/frpp were lower toned, like i remember the older stangs having. Also I noticed thru nino sport they are now selling racing edition axle backs, that are cheaper than the regular bassani's.

I was most surprised with...NO DRONE! Highway speed on cruise, the exhaust is barely audible. But when the throttle comes on...man. These things are great!

Butt dyno says I picked up some more power. Might just be the noise increase making me think I have more, but it sure seems to pull like it has a bit more oomf.

I just ordered mine today....buuuut I still dont have my GT Supposed to be in by the 23rd. I will also be purchasing LT's and catless H pipe.

Yall have to post a vid when you get your LT's hooked to them...

For the ones looking at LT's...what are you doing about cats...hi-flow or none. Also what brand? I was thinking JBA for both LT and H pipe.

Personally I'd go with hi-flow cats. The sound of no cats with LT's sounds a bit too "metallic" in my taste, I like a deeper rumble.

Only problem I have is, I couldn't get them exactly straight, the way the hangars are they are wanting to ( looking from the rear to the car ) align themselves towards the center of the car, so one gap on each side is a little wider than the other. I gave up trying to pull them, as it just pulled the rubber and they went back into place. I figure I'm the only one going to nitpick about it anyways.

Ahh don ur ladies are back

Hmm...I really would like no cats. Maybe someone will have this setup before I buy. I have never had a car that can be this loud and mean. I might just try it...I can always sell it if I dont like

I had a little trouble getting mine even as well. I loosened the stock "mid-pipe" clamp and it gave me a lot more movement. I was able to line them up perfectly.

Good call on the H pipe for extra adjustment...I will keep that in mind.

Think I'm going to go the cheap route and go with the off-road H and see how it sounds, if I don't like it, I'll go for the catted version.
