I have the "clunk" when turning, and its on both sides of the front end. I think its the axle... My husbands truck does it too, after he got it all lifted. He isnt concerned with the sounds, I however will be taking my GT in to get it checked out. I also hear it on the rear end when stopping... its odd for sure.

I am going to have them look into that and the gas tank, I have yet to put a full tank in mine.

Thanks for reminding me - I have heard the rear klunk as well....and don't get me started on the fuel tank fill up - it's downright painful. You have to hold the filler hose upside down and lean into it with your weight......people at the other pumps are looking at you like wtf is that guy doing......Ford goofed with this - my '01 LS had the two tanks straddeling the frame and I never had any issue with filling up.

Jessica - please post when you get your Stang back from the dealer - I'd like to hear what the outcome is.

thx

SixtySix, nope... I get a couple gallons in, and it starts the game again. It worked the first time I tried it, then not after. Its like its saying "neener neener, got around me once, not again!"

And I cant say I havent gotten a full tank out of it. I did once. At a price. I was filling it on the way to Vegas, and it only had about $18 in it, so, (it was less than 1/4 tank when I got there) I am clicking away, and sure enough, overspill. Peeved me pretty bad, I have NEVER done that in the 20 years of driving. On a brand new paint job none the less.

I had the clunk when turning either direction too, took it to the dealer and they determined that the upper strut bearing mounts were bad. I had them replaced under warranty and havent "clunked" since.

yeah, I guess that's been a problem, and there was a service bulletin about it. Take it to the dealer and have them swap it. There were similar problems on the Steeda lower kits having something to do with the design of the spring seat on the top... it would clunk if it's not installed properly.
