haha, I'm still modding. Paid the car off over the winter so the same car payment amount is going into the mod/maintenance fund.

I wonder how many folks will hang around when the next gen comes around. I'll be sticking with my S197 as long as it will run, and maybe swap in a coyote or stroker once it ceases.

Haha yea we're like the only ones. I've still got a while to pay though, depending on how the next two years go it should be paid off wicked early. I'm with you as far as sticking with my S197, probably stroke it down the road too. The plan is to eventually have it as a street/strip car. I wanna get a powerstroke diesel, and then a later model cobra. Like a 2011. Thats the plan anyway lol

still trying to decide what to do next. Changed my spark plugs recently that only costed me about 240 bucks lol. Thinking about doing some cams but don't know if I want to bust the engine open or not. Maybe some sound deadner in the floorboards.

Speaking from experience, cams are best when supported by gears and exhaust. But cool either way

My headers are on the way. Now I'm looking for a mid pipe solution. Due to the ease of install I'm probably going with the MAC pro chamber and it sounds badazz too! After that I hope to do Cams

I have the headers and have been looking at mufflers for a long time now. Looking at flowmaster american thunder. Does anyone know if they have any drone?? Don't want that dreaded drone Yo
Don't think I will ever do gears unless they blow out some day. Don't want to lose any mpg's

Go with the Maggie's that I run. Absolutely no drone with headers I guarantee. Check out my video's. 304 SS and awesome tips.

I have looked at them but they seem a little on the quiet side. I will look again

Dude, you will not believe the difference that the headers make after having cams with stock manifolds. It's like flaccid to erect haha

I have flows with longtubes and an offroad H. No drone at any speed/gear combo.

I got all the drone! Bassani high flow catted Xpipe and bassani mufflers. 2000rpms will eventually cause your ears to bleed.

Flowmaster 2chamber American Thunder have a pretty decent drone at 2-2200 rpm. Had the mufflers only and the cat-back kit on my other 5.0s

The American Thunders (60 series) have no drone but are pretty quiet. The American Thunder Classic (40 series) do drone, but have a great idle and roar at the higher rpms.

I had the 60's for several years, and once they had rusted out I replaced them with the 40's. Running a Catted H with stock manifolds btw.
