Ford Racing Supercharger

I know there is a member on here who has installed the 10psi boosted Ford Racing Supercharger making 500hp. Has anyone on here installed the other Ford Racing Supercarhger the once making about 415hp? This in coming up on my 2005 GT.

I didn't even know there was 2 seperate SCs from Ford. Maybe it's just one SC with a more aggresive tune?

nope, there are two kits.

I'm the one with the 475HP S/C kit from Ford Racing.

the difference is the one is pushing 8PSI of boost without an intercooler and puts down 415-425RWHP.

the other, which is the one I have, push's 10PSI of boost with an intercooler and puts down about 465-475RWHP.

and here is my kit:

Do a simple pulley change and you will be putting down 500hp i believe.

425rwhp without an intercooler, i'm no expert but that doesn't sound very safe.

I'm researching this topic as we speak. Actually I've been researching it for a while. The superchargers you are talking about are the same Whipple supercharger. One is intercooled and one isn't. The non-intercooled is for automatic transmissions and the intercooled is for the manuals.

Hopefully I'll be going with the non-intercooled for my auto, but I'll get a more aggressive tune from my local tuner. My understanding is that Whipple's tunes are pretty mild to say the least.
