Cool Ford racing start button

I installed it in about 1 hour. pretty easy. I wired it so you have to push it.

Looks good, but not my cuppa. If you still have to insert the key and turn it to the on position, this just adds another motion. Now, in conjunction with a proximity key option, I'd take a closer look at this mod...

To let you know, you have to do the exact same thing with the Ford GT supercar. Insert and turn key and then press the button!

I got one of them, mine is from Stack Racing. Sad thing is half the time I forget to push it because I'm so used to turn the key to start the car

it is the ford racing kit. I wired it so you have to push the button. I took 2 of my coworkers to lunch last night and they thought it was great.

Looks good! I suppose that it is pretty much a toy but I still think it's a cool mod! I just don't want to give up the in dash power port.

I have never used the 12v on my dash. Its in such a bad place to plug anything in. Its in a really bad place for 5 speeds.

True...but my 9 year old gets the console port to power her ipod, video game or dvd player. I use the dash port to power the sirius or gps. I find the location of the port is perfect for dash or window mounted accesories, as long as you keep the power cord short (wound up.)
