Does any one have pics of both installed? I like the Steeda one, but wish the name wasn't so large. I have seen the one from BMR, like it as well. My question is what does the ford one look like? Ford Racing doesn't show a pic just their logo. Help me please. Thanks.

btw if your from north Fl or lower GA... Check out the post for the Jacksonville Fl & surrounding area cruise.

I have a Steeda but if I had to do it all over again I would probably go with this one!

Say I were to put the Whipple Supercharger on my car, would it clear either of these braces or would I have to lose it all together....or better yet just don't buy one?

Yeah I saw this one in person at FFW and NMRA this month. It's very beefy and I could have gotten a killer deal on one at the show ($142), but need to save my allowance for the Predator before any other mods are done

I went to my Ford dealer yesterday (Brandon Ford / Tampa) and asked the parts guy about the Ford Racing Strut tower. I even took a picture. He could not find it in the parts catalog or his computer. Only the tringle one. Brandon Ford is listed in the Ford Racing Parts web site as a "official supplier, and thier a ROUCH dealer. but no luck, Anyone know the part number for the one on this post or a web address ????

Just ordered a BMR. (black). Any advise on install?? When you take of the strut tower nuts do "bolt" stay in place, or do you need to do something to keeping them "up"?? Will take some pics when i do the install and post..

Edit: The BMR only uses 2 of the 4 strut studs, so you don't have to worry about anything.

the best sturt tower braces connect to the rear firewall, all the ones shown here just go accross, I know maximummotorsports.com has not come out with a 05 kit yet but look at the older kit http://maximummotorsports.com/stb.asp
If you are just wanting a strut brace for the look your fine but if you want the full performance enhancement wait for a better one to come from maximum motor sports or griggs, they do suspention better then any mustang companies out there

Does anybody have a pic of the BMR from the back firewall area? All the ones I 've seen are only fromthe front and you can't tell if it bolts at the back or niot.
Thanks.

Still haven't decided on which one to get.

The firewall you see on the 05's is a fake firewall. Attaching a brace to this on an 05 would be useless to say the least.

I have the Steeda strut tower brace non-adjustable and wondered if the nuts are torqued? I don't want to just mount the brace (when my car arrives) and the nuts need to be torqued. If they need to be torqued, how much?

just put the BMR Strut Tower Brace on my 05GT The bolts were somewhat "not tight". I put them on without a torque wrench. Took it our for a test drive and some fairly hard driving. no problems...
