Forced Induction
Ok soon i will be heading off to college and i will have a a bigger paycheck at the company i am going to be working at, well after i do small finishing touches to the body i am going to buy a FI kit, these are the only kits i am considering and i would like to know which one is better. i want a sound you can hear when i floor it driving by you (like the 03-04 Cobras and 02-04 Lightnings sound with the eaton) but i also want to make close to or more than 480RWHP off of a stock motor, which is better?

For sound, I also say Procharger.

I am a big turbo fan, but the whipple will get you what you are looking for with the most oem fit/finish, IMHO. Good luck!

If by rice you mean the most powerful, then I would agree.

Not to throw a wrench in your plans, but IMO you should at least consider a PowerHouse Turbo:

My second choice would be the Whipple unit. I wouldn't put a ProCharger on my car if it was given to me.

i have heard the whipple from Lethal Performance when it was reving and dang that is awesome other than that i have only heard them on both of my friend's cobra's and my other friend's mystic cobra, both sound awesome, and the only reason i chose hellion is because i want no cutting of the car at all, i had enough problems with the redline tuning hood struts and hood pins

I didn't say they weren;t powerful they sound like rice. he's looking for sound. Superchatgers tend to give power over the whole power band not wait for boost to build. and how many single turbo's have the potential for 850hp like the kb 2.6 sc'er? I havent found one

I don't know if you were referring to my suggestion or not. I don't think the PowerHouse kit requires any cutting at all. I could be wrong though.

nope i have not heard it, do you have a vid? and after looking at the powerhouse turbo that is another kit to consider, looks alot cleaner than the Hellion kit but what i do not like is the dual fuel pumps are optional on the PH rather than included like Hellion kit is. but 470+RWP is not bad, would like to reach the 500 marker and it sounds awesome, i am really looking for some thing loud so you hear me coming then when i pass all you hear are my coffins

look i am not dissing turbos, if i was i would not have even put one in the pole, i am really starting to consider the Powerhouse turbo just because of the ease of install and the rpm where the boost kicks in, but most turbos i have seen around here the boost does not kick in till they get down the track or unless they do a good sized stall, and most of the people out at my local road course switch to SC unless their cars came with a turbo, then they just upgrade
