After having Flowmasters on 5 of my previous vehicles I decided to by a set for my 05 GT. I installed them the other night and to me the sound is just right. I had Pypes Violators on before but they were too loud for me. The Flowmasters are deeper and louder than stock mufflers. At idle their about the same, reving, accelerating and WOT they are deeper and a little louder than stock. If you like loud I will sell you the Violators for $150 plus shipping.
