I agree with your ranting! We bought a product from a company that they only make, so they should replace it (or fix it). I am excited to see how surgery goes! So in that pic what exactly is a baffle?

Check with SLP owners, I'm sure they can tell you about the shoddy quality of the Loudmouths...

What more proof do they need . I sent them vids of My 06 mustang and it's not like the tooth fairy made the flowmasters for me. Only 1 manufacturer. A very new product that is built like crap. proof that I purchased it?? I don't get it either. I will post a vid and pics of the surgery. crossin my fingers. it seems that these mufflers are built a little differently from the 40 series(PLZ correct me if I'm wrong). From the diagram below ,I'm willing to bet the 1st BAFFLE going into the muffler is the busted piece.

I noticed you have an OR X-pipe. I have the AT's, as well, and I'm waiting for my car to come in to install them. Do you think that first baffle will be a little more shielded with the stock H-pipe w/ cats? Won't the flow be a little less with the stock pipes? Just curious. I don't plan on getting an OR X or H due to emissions testing here in TX.

From the sound of most posters, most people love the flows and yet some experienced baffle problems. What is the percentage? How many of those that had problems had an OR X or H pipe, as well?

Mine broke a few days after i put my offroad pipe on. But I think it broke a tad before I went to Iraq. I cant remember. But it defintely broke while i was on the freeway one afternoon. I was buzzin all the way up to 5th gear! Its really embarrasing.

Same problem here. I contacted a friend that has done some work for me in the past with Flowmaster. He owns a muffler shop and is a flowmaster dealer. He is trying to get them to replace them for me even though I don't have the orig receipt. I hope they do it. He thinks they will. Might be an option for anyone else here with the same problem. Contact your local flowmaster dealer and see if they will help you out.

let us know how you make out. I had a feeling once this post was up Flowmaster owners would start showing up with the same problem. I can't imagine how many Flowmaster owners are driving around with that awful buzz and rattle.I talked to Flowmaster and gave them this post to look at. They should be really proud of themselves charging $458 for junk

Ok . I was told to shut up over at Stangnet because this is an old issue and Flowmaster already adressed the problem . The problem has gone away . My only reply was OK. They are rude over there.

Anyway. gonna try not to bash Flowmaster anymore. This whole thing can actually turn out good. Listen to this
I was looking at the Flowmaster Super 44 design and I hink that i'm gonna remove the first baffle and maybe open up the chamber closest to the Tip.

Something this widespread, they should do a recall. I guess it hasn't quite hit that point yet. Or is Flowmaster just using us for QC?

Typically if you order online you can save the confirmation emails, and a lot of sites you can log in and look up prior orders for receipts. And if you use paypal it leaves another way trace payment history. You can always make the ultimate complaint by not buying anything from them.

Update! My muffler guy came thru and Flowmaster is sending me a new set via his shop to switch out the defective ones. So, lesson learned if you don't have your receipt just go to your local flowmaster muffler dealer/shop and tell them the situation and they should take care of it.

Hey Tony- that doesn't surprise me about 'StangNet- did you know that site won't even allow you to link to this site? If you try to enter in a TMS link in one of your posts, it will appear as www.******* .com

What abunch of monkey spanks.... I hardly ever post there unless someone PMs me. Anyway, operate away!!
