Flowmasters
Flowmasters
I installed Flowmaster axle-back exhausts on my 07, I was a little skeptical because the flow's on my 92 5.0 are pretty loud, didn't want that on my 07 but I couldn't beat the deal so I ordered them from Silver Horse Racing, installed them and was VERY pleased with the results, nice deep tone at idle, on acceleration no resonance with a deep mellow tone, fit is perfect and the 4" chrome Flowmaster engraved tips really look great, I have received many compliments from people on the road, really looks and sounds nice.

Try this link. It is not another forum so I shouldn't get into trouble. They sampled about a dozen different exhausts for you to listen to before buying. I think I'm going with the flowmasters after listening and much contemplation.

Flowmaster
I have Flowmasters on my 07 gt/cs I love the sound not to loud at idle, nice sound when you get on it.I got a great deal on mine my buddy had a 05 gt and was selling back to the dealer and they wanted stock exhaust back on it,he sold them to me for $120 ,cleaned them up and spray painted the flat black with high temp paint ,polished the chrome ends, they look like brand new and the 4 inch tail pipes look nice coming out the back bumper...........
Do they drone
The only time I get any noise that I would consider being Drone if I lug the motor in 5th gear which is not very often .I really like the way they sound and I had others tell me they like the sound they put out but there is very little drone if any at all. Only thing that I did'nt really like with these mufflers and I think it was on the drivers side they don't give you enough clearence between the muffer and hanger at the exhaust end of muffler to get muffer bracket bolted in. You still have one bracket that bolts in fine and your clamped on to ur exhaust system. On the 2005 Gt you could bolt up ok, there was more clearence but on the 07 GT/CS there was not enough clearence to get bolt even started where you could of turned it in with a box end wrench. If anyone else had this problem did you figure out a way to get this bolt in, so far I had no problem having it mounted just by the one hanger........ other side mounted fine with stock brackets.

I have had my FlowMasters on for a month now, I honestly do not hear the drone that others have talked about, I have had so many people say how much they love the sound of my Stang, not too loud, has a deep muscle car tone on acceleration, no annoying drone or resonance, maybe I am going deaf after being around Naval Aircraft for 26 years!!!
