There is no reason to bump a thread from November. You could have just asked the status of the flowmasters in that forum. That being said, they are still not out to my knowledge.
You confuse me sometimes, when a person posts without searching you tell them that they should of searched first, but when they do search and post on an older thread you tell them that they should of started a new thread. I see no problem with bumping an old thread if the new info is on that same topic.

I agree. Why is everyone becoming such a harda>> lately? He did what he should have done, searched and gets slammed for it. Is everyone on a powertrip lately? I was very glad this was brought up again. I like the flowmaster sound and this is the first update I have seen in weeks. Please everyone take it easy. This is about car parts, not life or death. I really thought this site was different than most out there but I see it is becoming just like them. The more popular this site becomes the more I see people ripping into each, taking things personally. Why? This site is about the mustang, a car, not really the most important thing in life. Let's have fun with it. Take each other's opinion w/ a grain of salt and move on. (I'm off my little soap box for now )

Er, dunno if we're still talking Flowmasters, but anyhoo.

I had a local shop remove my stock mufflers and replace with 40's and the sound is PERFECT. Deep, but not OTT. Gives a great growl starting up and with accel. Coming down the gears (like off the freeway onto the offramp) gives a fantastic sound!

I've been considering the SLP, but even though the sound is nice and loud, I think it belongs to older, meaner looking cars. I'm looking at some mods which may require me to switch them, but I'm hoping I don't.

The only caveate is that at around 1800rpm, there's too much resonance inside the car and anything loose (change/paper/assorted crap in the cup holders, for example) starts to vibrate like crazy. I have heard that the Steeda pulleys remove this problem, though.

It's not everyone, just Altoid.

Regarding the flows, I've had flowmasters on many of my Stangs, however, I don't believe that they are known to actually add HP, just sound.

Perhaps sound is all you want, but I want HP as well, and I think that only a couple of companies so far have gotten HP gains from exhaust for the 05. Bassani would be one of them. Just FYI.

I assume the flows would just add a differnet sound. Maybe we will know different when they come out w/ an announcement. How much does the Bassani add? Can't be too much???

Sorry I went off before but I grow increasingly tired of the verbal assaults. This is not the place for it, I think.
