Jewls just got an Xcal1 in the mail, with no instructions. I've been searching the net for about an hour looking for instructions on how to download the tune with no luck.

Anybody have the instructions? I got the tune loaded onto it, now just need to flash the car.

Thanks!!! That is very nice of you Rich. DOUG AT BAMACHIPS IS THE MAN!! I actually called him and he walked us through it. On a Friday night no less!!! All of the great things people say about him are true.

Yep, like I've been preaching on this forum for awhile, in my opinion, Doug at BamaChips just can't be beat. Best Service & Support I've ever received in my life, not to mention his tunes are Fantastic.

 

Also, thanks Rich for posting up the directions, and also to Doug for emailing me a copy. I LOVE THIS SITE! I asked for help on a Friday night and and happily recieved some assistance. Thanks again!

And just to let everyone know, this was a used Xcal1 from a guy who sold his Lightning. Luckily, he had returned it to stock and it wasn't VIN locked, but just didn't have any instructions with it. It turned out to be really easy though, thanks again Doug for the help, next tunes I get are coming from you!

As far as performance, the 87 oct SCT tune and JLT CAI made a really nice improvement. Butt dyno says a solid increase in performance, and the car will bark the tires in 2nd and snap your head back with a litltle chirp in third. Much different than the stock auto. Jewls made me stop barking them in 2nd, I was having too much fun, ha!

Every time he barked the tires, I lost $10 worth of Pirellis!!!!! haha I had fully intended to get my tuner from Doug, but got a used one for next to nothing, so I couldn't pass it up. If the gas prices ever go down, I WILL be purchasing a 93 tune from Doug. It still blows my mind he answered the phone on a Friday night to help me and I didn't even buy my tuner from him!!! I cannot tell you guys how much i love this site, and how great the people are!
