Hey guys,

I just talked to a friend of mine who owns a shop and I asked him to install my BBK ceramic shorty headers. He asked me if I had flanges for my headers, I have never heard of these I thought the headers just bolt on up to the mid pipe. Do I need to buy a separate piece or am I fine it just confused me thanks for your help.

flanges he means the piece that goes in between the headers and the block. looks kinda like gaskets. I'm sure they came with the headers.

I believe he is talking about the other end of the header. Some have connecting flanges and some do not.

Yep... here's a look up at the stock manifold flange.
