Hey guys i have an 06 mustang gt, my rear wheels are a 20x10 w/ a 48mm offset. Ive got a couple friends running 305/35 on their 20x10 and thinking abt doing the same but was wondering if ill have issues with a 48mm offset, is it too tucked in for 305s?

So, on your current 20X10 set up...what tires are you running?
Look up the tires you are considering (make/model/size) on Tire Rack, and check the "specs" tab for "rim width range." If you put on tires that are too wide for the wheels (recommended wheel rim width is larger than your wheels) you will be paying for rubber that is not touching the road; because it curls upward due to the too-narrow wheel. I'm pretty sure a 305 tire should have an 11" wheel to get full contact patch. You want the wheel width to be at least the "measuring width" shown in the specs tab on Tire Rack.
My handy unofficial cheat sheet says 10" wheel should have +47-50mm offset, 11" wheel should have +62mm offset .... oversized tires (305 tire on existing 10" wheel) might rub on the outside (fender)
