I went to the Strip last night and only made two passes but was able to muster a 13.6@102.4 w/ descent wheel spin and hop. so I'm sure it will do better but I am very pleased.

That is a great time/mph for what I think is a stock car.

Stock. Well slight tune. An SCT xcal2 89 and that is it right down to 32lbs of tire pressure.

That's pretty good for a stock car. Although I shaved .5 sec off when I did a diablo 93 octane tune (from stock).

Wheel hop is a sign of a good hook up. At least I get my best times when I'm wheel hopping. If you put an intake on it you could get another few tenths easy.

How did you launch? RPM? dump clutch?

I revved to high on the launch, a little over 2500 I think. The wheel hop definitely hurt my times. I did not dump the clutch. Oh and I was racing a hopped up Trans Am and he redlit but I still chased him down for an official kill!

Actually 2500-2750 is right about where you want to be.

I ran 14.096 bone stock. NO TUNE.

<<<OFF TOPIC>>>

Are you still considered stock even if you have tuned your car?

I say no.

I say NO. That is why I wrote this. "Stock. Well slight tune. An SCT xcal2 89 and that is it right down to 32lbs of tire pressure."
