If you were stock I would have to call bs. It was definetly a driver's race, given your mods. Way to out drive the other guy

Stock WS6's run what, 13.4-13.5? Right on par with a stock Mustang GT.

Mid 13s for a stock Mustang GT is a little optimistic IMO. I know some have done it, but the majority have not.

No idea, he sounded like he had an upgraded exhaust and had big car club stickers. Doesn't really matter, an F-body is an F-body =)

There have been alot of stock LS1's running 13 flats stock. Few have dipped into high 12's. With minimal mods they have tons of potential. You honestly were the better driver and outdrove this guy. With some mods he should have beat you, but the best mod is always a great driver.

Could have also been an LT1 WS6 too. A LS1 WS6 will pull us pretty hard, especially in 3rd gear. I know

heck, an LS1 is just scary, I can't for the life of me figure out why anybody would mess with an old-school SBC. The LSx motors are just that good.

Course, I am contiually suprised about the good things I hear and see with the 3v 4.6, it is turning out to be a very good motor, now if Ford would just get it into their heads that it needs to have about 50 more cubic inches.......
