Finally got my custom dyno tune

Took my car to Tillman Speed yesterday and got a custom dyno tune done along with a C&L Racer CAI installed. Previously I had a different intake from another manufacturer with their own canned tune and let me tell you they are night and day different, especially the throttle resopnse. This Tillman Speed tune flat out rocks!I couldn't be happier. I had the opportunity to meet Scott Tillman and Chris Rose and both seemed to be great guys and running a great operation. I highly recommend anyone in the area who is considering a dyno tune to check these guys out.

How much did the dyno tune cost? I'm planning to dyno tune my car at Tillman's here in Costa Mesa, but im worried about cost.

We're definetly a long way from Costa Mesa, but we'd still love to do the tune for you!

Mark, Glad you are happy with the tune! If you want me to post up your graphs, let me know... I have them in .bmp format.

Hi Chris,
Yes, post away, I don't mind at all. Right now I'm wishing that I had done a few more mods such as UDP's, delete plates and headers prior to the tune to try and crack the 300 rwhp threashold Even still, the car is like a completely different car now...its all good

CR I'll be headed down to your shop to get the plate deletes and custom tune in about a month or so when it gets a little warmer. So I'll call for a price and appointment time.

No problem, we can get you up above 300 with some long tubes and delete plates! Got them in stock whenever you're interested. The retune will only take a few minutes on the dyno. I'll take care of you! 281/299 is solid numbers though, SAE corrected.

Sounds good!! I figured you guys are busy, it is that time of year after all. Spring time for car shops is like the Thanksgiving to Christmas rush for regular retailers...I understand that for sure.

Chris , I'm in the Reading area and now that spring is here the car can come outta storage , a mild winter here in northeast Pa this year!!! I've been wanting an intake and tune for awhile, but was unsure of "canned" & "mail order tunes". What does a CAI & custom dyno tune run. I've also want to do a 1pc alum driveshaft. I'm real fussy with my baby ,even though its nothing special , its special to me. I'm hearing good things about your shop. Any events coming up??? thanks , Erick

We can do a bunch of different packages for you. We carry C&L, JLT, Steeda, GMS intakes in stock. Give me a shout if you'd like and I'll go over pricing for you. My work cell is (484)390-0343. I'm around all the time, including weekends. We'll get you in and you'll love the difference it makes! We also have PLENTY of pictures of the Coast Aluminum driveshafts that we sell. We have plenty of them in stock, if you're in the area. You could come down and check them out. We have the driveshaft safety loops as well as the adjustable 3rd links from BMR and Steeda ready to go with them for lowered vehicles.

Thanks for your understanding. We should have a mild week next week, and that will allow me to knock out some tune updates that I've owed people for a week or two.

Chris , Thanks for the reply. I'm having surgery on Thursday April 3 and will be home bound for 2-3 weeks. The wife and I went to the Chesapeake Bay eastern shore today to get away one last time til I'm out of service. Saw a bunch of cool 05-08's near Elkton & MD Rt301 & a grabber GT500 just outside of St. Michael's , MD. I'll give you a call the week of April 7-11 while I'm stuck in the house. Talk some numbers and go from there. The shop open Sat? maybe I'll have the wife drive me down once I'm able to be mobile. Thanks , Erick
