I am stoked! Project Monster DD is finally over!
Took forever, but finally finished my dream of a MONSTER S197 daily driver.
Car drives like stock with an animal waiting to be unleashed at any time.
Was it hard - bet your *** - took me two years and trying just about every combination under the sun - but it is finally DONE.

3 pulls back to back! I know it's over fast, but we did take it to 6600 rpm believe it or not - it just pulled that fast...lol
Yep - this a a 4.6 block 3V, stock computer, no weight shaving (4080 lbs.), full ac/radio, etc. driven to and from the track. I'll be getting track vids of this final set-up this weekend to see what she does.

4080 lbs? Do you have a pallet of cinderblocks in your trunk?
Edit: Holy crap that is some serious power! How long do you think the stock block/rods will hold at that level of boost?

I bet the block will last for a while. We built a car for a customer that went low 9s and high 8s quite a few times on the factory block. He said it was the stock block, but I doubt it still sports the stock rods and pistons.

It has custom diamond pistons with rings you'd have to see to believe, manley rods, kellog crank and a stout valve train by livernois. I also run a custom AOD housing with 4r70 internals full manual and have a boat load of mods keeping heat in check with big power.
Nope, you ain't making (or keeping) this kind of power on stock anything my friends...lol
There is a complete mod list on page 2 of my car domain link in my sig.

The only stock he knows is that they keep rear tires in "stock" for him. ![Smile](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Very nice!
What kind of air fuels? Timing? Forced into open loop? What MAF/Injectors?

I was there at RET that day! I stood behind the car around 20' back during the dyno run and it still scared the bejesus out of me! ![EEK!](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)

VERY nice! I am STILL dead set on a pair of turbos, but that is a VERY tempting alternative!
If I may ask: why did you go with the iron block? I'm assuming it was because you wanted the larger displacement that is possible with the 3.7" bore, but..
