Exhaust...what diameter

Is the GT's exhaust 3" or smaller. Specifically the section behind the H pipe.

It is all 2 1/2" from the factory. This is large enough for a 281 c.i. motor even with mods. Probably if you have power adder there may some advantage to going larger but if you are n/a 2 1/2" is all you need.

All 2.5"... why would you assume it was 3"? I think, nay, KNOW it'd be offroad mid/Loudmouth loud with 3" pipes.
