If you go to brenspeed.com, they have a media section with lots of different set ups.

Tried to...it "fit"...but not well enough for me to leave it on.

Monkeyed with it for 3 hours, but the mufflers kept banging on the gas tank, and the over-axle pipe kept hitting the crossbar that it goes over. Oh, and the left tailpipe was about 2 inches too high.

POS kit...I guess you get what you pay for. I'll be sending it back and not asking for an exchange.

So? You really think a little flat spot is restricting a measly 300-350 HP?

Anybody using the Corsa Axlebacks with the FRPP x-pipe? That's the setup I'm considering and I'm wondering if anyone else has experience with it.

I've got the corsa's with the stock h-pipe, and am VERY happy.

I had the dual Magnoflow system installed on Thursday. Sounds great on take off.....sound tends to settle down once you get to the speed you are leveling out at but then roars again when you step on the gas. I got the catback after speaking to the Ford Dealer he advises that anything but the catback would affect the warranty. If you want your car noticed this is the system to get.

I went with the regular Bassani's and haven't looked back yet! I love them, and they really make the car sound like a true musclecar again. DEEP rumble at idle and cruising around. Get on the gas, and it sounds like you have a 460 under the hood!!

What does Tillmanspeed sell the GTA for?

I definatley will get the Pypes H pipe, now just thinking about what catback. After listening to numerous catbacks videos here is what I have come up with...

1 quiet to 10 loudest

Stock - Reference (3)
SLP Loudmouth - loudest set, insane loud (10)
Flowmasters - good sound but alot of drone complaints (7)
GTA - louder than stock but not crazy loud, no drone (5)
Corsa's - great smooth rumble, no drone, pricey (6)
Mac - loud, maybe a bit raspy (8)
Stingers - great loud rumble, some drone, makes a statement when driving by (8)
Bassani streets - (7)

I would rate the bassani street's as a 6.5-7.

If flows are a 7 I'd say MACs are a 8...

I've heard Macs(8) and they are definitely louder than Flows. I've had Flows, GTAs and now Bassani streets. The Flows(7) were the loudest, next would be the Bassani streets(6.5) then the GTAs(5).

After checking out tons of videos on YouTube I am thinking of going with the MAC axlebacks. I really want the SLP Loudmouths, but I am afraid that they're going to get annoying on the highway, which I do a lot of.

I just want something loud all around, but not annoying when I'm on the gas for a long time.

I've got the Corsa's and will be switching to the Corsa crossover/x pipe in the nex couple weeks. No cutting/welding required vs the FRPP x pipe.

MACs don't seem to drone much on the freeway (65+), only time they are bad on the droning for me is about 60mph in 5th gear

Yeah, I have heard a few clips of the MACs and they sound sick.

Now it's either that or the Borla Stingers but I doubt I will go with them since they're more money and the MACs sound way better!

I've had the Magnflow catbacks for over a year. Quiet at idle and deep at WOT. I go the catbacks to take advanatge of whatever engineering was done for the whole system. No rattles or clanks yet.

I have Corsas and a Mac stock catted Prochamber now, which is okay.

Tomorrow I am having a Magnaflow hiflow catted x-pipe put on with the Corsas. I am hoping that wakes it up a little.

Bingo, You think we would release a system that fits like you describe? It's a tight fit I'll agree. That's why Ford didn't make a mid muffler system. You're local. Bring the car in and we'll figure out what's going on. Our dime.
