I had the Flowmasters and hated the volume of them, was way too quiet. I put on a Bassani X-pipe with high flow cats and it helped a lot. I also tried the flows with the offroad H and got major trumpeting at certain RPMs that sounded like crap. I eventually got the bassani SS race axle backs (really just like stingers) and loved the volume and tone with the X. Drone is horrid, definately much worse than the flowmasters.

I just installed the Flowmaster AT's today. I love the sound...not very loud, but great tone.

I found that my CAI increased the volume of my Flows slightly. Right now I am happy with my Flows. I still can not say that they drone , if so, VERY minimal.

May I suggest this:ARH LongTube 1-5/8 304-SS Headers w/Cats + Cross Pipe for 2005+ Mustang GT By American Racing Headers from LMPerformance, Inc. official_style said these headers and x-pipe eliminated alot of drone, makes Flowmaster's sound louder and deeper, and there is just alittle bit raspiness from the x-pipe.

Thanks. I think that I'm eventually going to go with some type of cat-less set-up... either LT headers or an O/R H. I'm leaning towards Leo's set-up. Next time he is in Pittsburgh I'd love to hear it... lol.

Hey steel, I had Stingers paired with an O/R H and it sounded like crap. I also had the Corsa's with the O/R H and it sounded like crap too, but not as crappy as the Stingers. I just bought a set of used Flow's and put those on with the O/R H, and all I can say is wow, that is the sound I am looking for. The other two setups with the O/R H sounded like a mix between a riding lawn mower, a Harley, and a diesel truck exhaust. Go with the O/R H you wont be disappointed.

Yup that's what my car sounds like only better because I'm hearing it in person. If you like that vid and my vids then I'm sure you'll be happy with the Pypes O/R H.

Are the Pypes stainless steel? What was the Cost? Do they require a re-tune? How hard was the install? Thanks

Your welcome, I am always glad to help. Well, if you need help on how to install the h-pipe if and when you buy it here is something that will be helpful:The Mustang Source Forums - View Single Post - another Pypes O/R H-Pipe install The cost is 174.99. Here's the link:Brenspeed PARTS

Also, it is not stainless steel, it's aluminized steel.

I have FRPp's but they drone like a mother. Keeps the wife from taking it out though. I've heard Corsa axle back is best for sound w/out drone.
I have an extra set of FRpp's that I may be selling if anyone is interested

Unfortunately there not at this time Pat, there made from aluminized coated steel but I've heard that Pypes are supposed to come out with a stainless version down the road..As for requiring a retune ? No it's not necessary in fact Doug has your rear 02 sensors already turned off, so once you install them ? your already set to go..brenspeed has them listed at $174.99 but you may want to check with CR from Tillman speed as I'm sure he'll either match it or beat it...
