Thanks for all of the info. I have had to change out all of my previous exhaust including the x-pipe. The cats would rub the floor board when I would rev the engine. I would also could hear a sound that was like the sound of locus but with a metal ring to it coming from the cats.
After a week of these problems and trips to 2 performance shops, I decieded to exchange the Magnaflow x-pipe for a Bassani one. I will see how much louder the Bassani x-pipe is before I order the axleback.
It will be a week or two before my Bassani x comes in since because I RPM Outlet has to receive the Magnaflow x before they can send the Bassani. Right now i am stock.

I have been researching SLP powerflows now and at this point it don't know what to think. How is the volume level? Do they drone at all? I know they have smaller tips but as long as they look good I don't care.

They are nicely polished and look pretty good...
edit: Oh, and they sound very nice... very slight drone at low rpms (~1500-2000) but I rarely spend any time that low...

Scott said, "I drove into work on the highway this morning varying my speed form 60 to 75 mph and there is NO drone."
see this thread for borla info per NO drone:

Borla is a good exhaust but they drone like crazy from what I hear.

They drone a touch around 2000k but honestly, nothing a mustang enthusiast wouldn't still LOVE the sound of.
I've posted tons of comments praising Borla for the great job they did on the axle-back sound..... For me, nothing makes the 05 sound the way I want it to quite like this setup.

i have the stock exhaust. i try to be low key and not attract as much attention as possible while i scoot around town.
i noticed a slight drone, hardly perceptable, with the stock system at 2,000 rpm. i think it is so slight, that ppl don't even notice it and say the stock system has no drone.
when i got my JLT CAI, it vanished. no drone whatsoever at 2,000rpm. i know- my intake change took away my exhaust drone, what little there was. funny thing this resonance thing.

Man - BASSANI's Drone very bad. I purchased a set of Bassani's and used them for 1 week and it drove me crazy. The drone is awful.
I took them back and got Magnaflows. They are louder than stock. They sound great with no drone.
I can't tell you enough how bad the drone is with Bassanis. They sound good outside, but inside the cabin its horrible.
