Borla has a 4inch...or it could be 4.5

while FRPP has 3.5 or 4.0 haha I can't remember exact numbers but Borla was 1/2 inch bigger Tip then regular FRPPs

The FRPP catalog says it has 3.5" tips, so the Borlas will be 4"
Is that considered far can territory or is it acceptable to go to such large tips because of the 300 hp V8?

 

Im sure they will look fine, personally I LOVE the way the FRPP tips look and Im glad they are not bigger

Just for the record, keep in mind that decibals are a logarithmic measurement, meaning that every time you go up by 1dB, that will sound approximately 2x as loud to your ears. I think that's how it works, please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

I dont think +1dB is 2x louder

 

3db is 2x louder. 10db is 10x louder.

 

I had the loudmouths and liked them. Now I have a Stainless Works exhaust and love it. It sounds awsome.
