Can anybody explain what an exhaust disc is and where its placed and whats it used for?

 

In what context did you hear that term used? The only thing I could think about that being used in would be the exhaust on the new boss 302s, where they used discs to tune the side exhaust.

If thats the case, then the exhaust discs refer to, literally, a metal disc placed in the exhaust piping to tune the sound of the exhaust.

The discs go in the sidepipes

 

Would be cool if able to tune all exhaust systems lik dat

 

I saw in another thread that someone was planning to have the side pipes added to their GT. Should not be too hard to duplicate for a good muffler shop.
