I removed my front stabilizer bar when I went to the track.It launched awesome with the front end lifting Pretty high.I have not put it back on since.On the street the car still handles very well even to the point that I like it better off.
When you take off from a stop the front end will lift and realy plant the rear tires.But also i like the way the car has a little body roll that also helps put weight on the side tires in the corners.With the swaybar on the car is very darty,bumpsteer and two bouncy giving you a feeling that if you hit any bumps at speed in the corners the car is going to spin out.Also looks very impressive when your in the low gears and shes lifting up the front end.
Try it.It takes only a few minutes to remove.Just turn the tires to reach in and remove the bolts on the struts and remove the ones on the bar underneath.

I know you said it dosen't have a big affect on the street but can anyone elaborate on this. Becuase the bmr peice looks great as most of their stuff dose but I was wondering how it would be to drive with out the front sway bar all the time.

That support looks awesome and the weight savings is also good.Taken weight right off the front end.Now all we need to do is get that battery in the trunk.With that radiator support and battery relocated to trunk that would be almost 80 lbs off the nose and the battery in the trunk would help with rear traction.

Get you a set of Bogart wheels and shave off some more weight! Get that car to hook hard enough and get those front tires off the ground! Another thing, with the gas tank placed where it's at, my car hooks better when I have gas between 1/4 and 1/2 tank. When I have less than 1/4 tank, I start to loose traction.

I have had the same luck, always works best between 1/4 and 1/2 tank. That BMR piece looks great and I love to take weight out wherever I can. Great post!

I really think alot of my traction issues is due to shocks. I'll be replacing them, and take it from there. I'll also be relocating the LCA's. From what I've gathered, it's a must if you lower the car. I'll be shopping around for QA1 double adjustable shocks.

That's what I heard too. I understand that they are still telling people 4-6 weeks, even though their production hasn't started up yet. Where did you order yours? Bogart has made some 15" wheels that will fit on our stock rotor/caliper. I called Bogart but they didn't have specifics on them or they didn't want to deal with it. Justin Burcham (JPC) is a distributor for Bogart and has the specifics on these wheels. Roughly $390 each.

And who "IS US"? Just about everyone will eventually make a pass or two at the local Dragway, where it is legal and safe to push the horsepower of your car.
If you are one of those people that try and make there car take corners like its on rails, then God bless you :nono: I read about great handling cars all the time.In the news paper were theres a picture of the Mustang in two pieces from hitting a tree.You may have the killer springs big rims and tires and all the goodies,but when she comes unglued from the pavement at the peek of your high speed turn you will understand what I am talking about.

I'm not really sure what it is he's trying to say. If he thinks those that race,legally, at the track are out in left field, then I'd like to know why. I guess this goes to the saying, "to each his own." There are some on here that think that adding a single mod is ridiculous. There are those of us here that set the car up to run a 1/4 mile and those that are setting them up to run a road race. There are those here that are just making their cars nice to drive to work and those that think leaving it completely stock, it will be worth $100,000 in 10 years.

My point is, everyone has the way they like it. If you have constructive criticism, feel free to share or would like to let others know of something that works or doesn't, share it. If you don't like something, keep it to yourself. Those are the kind of comments you think about, but keep to yourself. Try to be a little more courtious.

I'm not really sure what he meant by that. I may have come across a bit harsh. There are a lot of mods done on here that I just don't care for. I respect others tastes in how they make their car. I've seen some things that are way out there for my likes, I just don't broadcast it.

Can we get some more details of exactly how to take it off? Does it need to be replaced with anything? Can I just take it off and see how its different? Pix of how to remove it maybe?

It is self explanatory.It bolts to the strut and under the radiator support.Takes minutes to remove.The black bar that goes from one strut over to the other.
