After I installed my CMDP’s and uploaded my updated tune from Bama (torque or Perf). I notice when I am barely stepping on the gas pedal, basically only partial throttle. I hear this real faint hissing/sucking sound in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears, through 1000-3500 RPM. If I step on it all hear is one huge sucking sound through my CAI. I am thinking that it is just my CAI sucking in the air and I am just hearing the air flowing by the throttle valve plates???
When I have the hood open and have someone step on the gas pedal I don’t hear it and everything is in order but I do still hear the one huge sucking sound when the gas pedal is goosed. So it seems to be more evident when it is in gear and there is a load on the engine (driving), car runs fine, other wise. Anyone else notice this?

I am planning on pulling my injectors and if all good may double check the CMDP seals, hopefully this is normal so I won't have to do either.

This is likely the air rushing thru your intake..... perfectly normal.

Only CAI, no CMDP, but I get a quick sucking sound whenever I apply throttle quickly. No constant sound though.. that's interesting.

 

Yeah I have that quick sucking sound even with the canned tune and before the Bama CMDP tune, which I know is normal, I am just concerned about the faint hissing/sound with barely hitting the throttle but sounds like it may be normal.
