Engine Performance Modifications

How about a little truth and consequences poll?
As we all know, stuff happens!
What's your situation and how do plan to deal with the possible consequences of your engine performance modifications during the warranty period?
I know I missed a bunch of possible scenarios so vote or don't and then toss in your $.02 to fill the voids.

I had to vote for "this poll is lame".
You're the one who gave me that option!

So you took the time to vote and even typed a response here but don't have any input other than the poll blows?

I am paying off my car still, and I'll let me warranty take care of any carnage.

I can barely afford the payments, insurance and gas . . . I will mod the engine but . . . carnage is not an option.
What are your plans if you blow the motor and its not covered by the warranty and you have fifty five more payments?
No way would I ever take that chance.

I'm making payments. I hate that. It goes against all my best judgment, but I mod my car anyways. I have a second car if the worst happens to my Stang, but like everyone says, "It sucks to be making payments on a broken car." I make a decent enough living to fix my Stang as long as the damage isn't over $5000 (young and single, err...not married, I mean...).

I voted for "I'm making payments and don't give a crap whether she blows as long as she goes."
But, the days of making payments are numbered. I only took out an auto loan because I needed my cash to finance a real estate deal. Once the property sells, I'll net about $75K-80K and the car will get paid off (and the blower mod will proceed).
