What's up with all of the SCT programmers?

Seriously though, can someone explain the differences (other than looking different, and some have things like a shift light or are handheld)?

Nah, i'm asking what the differences are.

I agree, the key to performance is 70% tuning, and 30% parts.

It's not really an issue of "voiding the warranty", as much as a Dealership "honoring the warranty". Case in point, the Magnusson Moss Act is federal legislation which was enacted to protect the consumer. However, this act basically addresses why the MANUFACTURER cannot void your vehicle warranty if it cannot be proven that an aftermarket modification directly caused the failure in question. So Ford cannot void your warranty (if they can't prove what caused the failure), but individual Ford Dealerships CAN deny providing warranty repairs to your car if they feel your modifications COULD lead to FORD not reimbursing the Dealership for their repair costs. I know a few people who have been 'red-flagged' at their local dealerships due to heavy aftermarket modifications. So if you don't mind driving many more miles out of your way to find another Ford Dealer who MIGHT be inclined to let your mods slip by (and many do), no problem. The issue is really with the local dealerships honoring warranty work, as opposed to Ford (the Manufacturer) 'voiding' your warranty.

You spent the time to gather up all these names. Why didn't you spend the moment while you were there and read about it? If you're looking for one to go with go with Diablo. If you want a second option, SCT. All the others go to in the trash.

I was just getting every system available for the benefit of members to know what's out there.

I just figured I would ask about the differences between the SCT programmers in this thread so I wouldn't have to start a new thread.

Why do you say all of the other ones are junk? Just curious.
