Disconnect the negative battery cable for 5-10 minutes to clear the Keep alive memory. Hopefully it is an anomaly and will not return. Hope this helps.

I'm assuming you installed the tune yourself, and therefore have a handheld programmer? If so, you should be able to use the programmer to read the engine code. Get the code and see if the following site helps at all -

http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/ford/index.php

At least it's a start. You may want to post the code in here, too, as someone here may be able to lend further assistance.

The fact that you added a CAI and then used the predator tells me it is an issue with the tune. A bunch of us had the same issue when we first started installed CAI on the new stangs. Reset the computer by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 5 minutes. Go out for a drive but try to stay under 4,000 rpms for a bit. If the light does not come on then start nailing the 6,000 rpm area like you previously done. If the light comes on most likely you need to get a different tune. My guess is the air/fuel ratio is not programmed correctly.

Stop freaking out. Take a breath and calm down, it will be ok.

DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR BATTERY LIKE TIBERIUS SAID.

Before you do anything here, plug in your Predator and go to the diagnostics menu and read the trouble codes. These trouble codes will tell you what is wrong. Post them here. We will help you figure out what they mean.

After you write down the codes and descriptions, you can clear them using the clear codes menu which will turn the engine light off and delete them from memory.

Dont worry!... it happend 2 me when the car was almost new... I live in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico, and every weekend I used 2 go to the beach at Puerto Vallarta, and I used to have that problem the first thousand kilometers... and with the time the engine has gotten used to my way of driving and now it never happens... so nothing 2 worry!!

Well, not to hijack deepblue's thread, but I now have a brand spankin' new CEL that I can't get rid of. Installed my EH2O pump yesterday. Followed everyone else's lead on which fuse to tap ( fuse #42 ) in the power distribution box under the hood for a trigger to the relay supplying power to the pump. CEL started at the same time I installed the relay. I plugged in my Predator, it said there were no trouble codes. I choose the "clear codes" option anyway, still have the CEL. So I disconnected the negative cable for about 30 minutes, that didn't clear it either. I have pulled all the fuses and checked them, nothing blown. Disconnected the trigger wire to the EH2O pump, still didn't clear ( thinking maybe it was just enough draw on that circuit to cause something ). Starting to get a bit annoyed with it...
