Emissions Test failure after tune?

I've had a filter and tune on my '07 for over a year now. No other mods.

Went in for the first inspection, and got "Not Ready" on Catalyst, o2 sens, o2 sens htr.

Inspection dude says usually that is because the battery went dead or was unhooked, and the car hasn't been driven enough since then. This isn't the case.

Any ideas? I'm going to set it back to stock and bring it back by after driving 50-100 miles to see what happens.

Most tunes have the rear O2 sensors turned off by default. You won't be able to get an ODBII ready if that is the case.

Do a search. I think it was Doug at Bamachips made a post with a title like "the truth about emission failures" or something like that. It went into MUCH more detail behind what causes these failures and how to fix them. Just search for messages started by Doug and you should not have any issues finding it.

Most tunes turn off some of the O2 sensors, and some even shut off the entire OBD2 monitoring system so you never ever get a DTC/MIL/CEL even when something is going wrong. Don't ask how I know...

Your tuner should be able to turn your rear sensors back on, that's the only way you can pass emissions.

I didn't have any plans on searching for Doug's thread (Everyone has access to the search and I don't need to reread this thread...), but I don't want anyone to get confused reading the wrong thread. So, here it is:
