Eibach Sportline Springs
#1
When I have time I am going to install...with a little help from my friends, my Eibach Sportline Springs. Has anyone installed these springs? Any advice to pass on? Also, what kind of drop can I expect? Any feedback will be great! Thanks!

I have the Sportline's installed in my GT. It's a pretty deep drop so be prepared for that. After the springs settle your front end will have quite a bit of negative camber and it will need to be realigned back to spec. I had to have an aligment shop modify my struts to accept new camber bolts to be able to get the correct alignment done since the stock bolt would not allow proper camber adjustment after lowering.
Ride qualtiy was a lot better than expected, I expected it to be bumpier but it turned out for the better. Handling became much better, turns became tighter. Steep drive ways can be a problem though, you will most likely scrape your mid pipes when you hit the peaks.
Expect a min 2" drop. You also might want to consider an adjustable Panhard rod for the rear end to get it aligned with the body.
Here's a pic the day the springs were installed, the car was 3 days old at the time.
Another angle, you can see how much camber the front wheel has prior to a realignment

Yes, the Sportline kit gives more drop than the Pro kit. The Pro kit is suppose to give a 1" (or a tad more) drop and the Sportline will give it at least a 2" drop.
I'll be ordering a set of Mustang Tuning Anthracite Deep Dish Bullitts (18x9 and 18x10 set) this week and I can't wait to see how it'll look like on the car.

I am getting the same rims too, 4 18x9 anthracite rims and 2 18x10(drag radials). How much does mustang tuning sell them for, got a link? cheepest i found is 495 shipped.
Another question, im stuck between the prokit and sportkit, does lower mean better handling? or just an increased look?

Ive read that the prokit are stiffer but dont lower your car as much. Im leaning toward buying the prokit because I want a lower car for better handling but not so low i scrap the bottom going into driveways or over speed bumps in parking lots.

someone told me that if when I install the Sportline kit I am going to have to "notch" my car. Is that true? I don't want to do anything where I can't go back to stock if I do not like the ride. If anyone has install instructions for this kit I'd appreciate it. I bought my kit on ebay and did not get install instuctions. Please advise.

I was going to get sportline, but with me having 20's, I was told that this was not an option for me and I went with the pro kit.
