Eibach Pro Kit/Steeda Springs--Novice
#1
Gents,
I have a '05 Screaming Yellow GT convert, and want to lower the car a little bit. I have a couple of questions. Is going with Steeda or Eibach mainly a religeous argurment or is one perhaps better suited to my applicaion. Years ago I had a brand new '91 and lowered it. I did everything on the cheap and the car bottom out and rubbed constantly. I want to avoid that situation. I would also like to match the spring lowering with dampers, updated roll bar etc. My goal in the end is put 19" tire and wheel combo.
Finally. I am worried about camber issues after I lower. With steeda's camber kit at $189.00 is this something to be worried about. Should I buy the camber kit before I lower?
As always I appreciate you taking the time, to help this novice.
Cheers!!

I've got the Steeda sport springs front and back with stock 17" bullit wheels and tires. The alignment was fine after installing the springs so no additional parts were required. The ride is as good as stock and the car looks great.

There are several good threads on this.....Check your search. My own experience was with the Pro kit, and I did end up using the Steeda camber kit. At max stock my camber was about 1-1/2 Deg. negative, so I wanted to be in the middle of range. As stated above ride is marginally stiffer but very close to stock .
