This thread is a hell of a lot more interesting now that I found a gas station with e85 next door!

I'm in Columbus, OH.

I am watching this thread but have never seen E85 offered in my area around Springfield, Ohio.

Interesting...I am on the west side of Springfield out of the city limits by about 10 miles. Never visit that area of the city. But I will check it out. Thanks for the info.

Columbus is only 2 hours, from where I'm located in PA. However I haven't noticed a single gas station that carries E85 yet

I haven't read through this yet, but Justin replied that he did complete testing of E85 yesterday in his reply to me and directed me to his forums to read the results:

He he goes into some rather extensive detail - enough to give me confidence he can do a mail order tune for N/A cars for the SCT.

He mentioned to me that for $99, I will get both an E70 and E85 tune for my area. I'll have to research that to make sure he's right, but I think I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger now.

5.0 Magazine is doing an E85 shootout this fall - if you want to submit your car, here is the link:

I just loaded my VMP e85 tunes and loaded up a gallon or two last night. Too early to report any details, I still want to datalog a few things. But instantly, the car idles much, much better and the throttle is snappy, great low end. No WOT runs yet, but if the datalogs prove sound (I'm sure they will), then this is definitely a great mod if you can easily get e85 in your area. I'd say it ranks right up there on the must have performance mods as a CAI and exhaust.

On the highway to work this morning, I got about 23 MPG, on regular gas I got around 26. Not a big hit, really.

Yeah, I got an invite to that too but it's too **** far...if they'd pay to transport the car I would go but we all know that wouldn't happen.

Hey Guys,

I recently spoke to the folks at Flex Fuel US, (http://flexfuelus.com/F80101_2), who quoted me $1100 for their official, EPA certified 4.6L V8 kit they made for a Roush Mustangs. Apparently Ford will even honor warranties if it installed by AAMCO techs who've been trained to do it. We only have one E85 station in the San Francisco Bay area, in Concord. Another is due to open in San Jose.
