Dynoed, and ready for the track
I though I was having problems since my A/F gauge was going stupid lean at 6000 rpm. From all the datalogging I had done it was determined that nothing was looking funny in the tune and everything was fine, so it was off to the dyno to varify the A/F. The tuner looked at it and did some small test pulls and thought all looked ok, so he let it rip. 475 rwhp and 11.4 A/F across the board! After that it was determined that my wideband sensor is bad. We were even able to put more timing in it and ended up with 494 rwhp and 443 rwtq. The tq curve is surprisingly flat, almost doesn't look like a curve from a centri blower to me, but I'm no expert. I am stoked though! My A/F is fine and my Exedy 500 is broken in......it is time for some E.T.'s.

"Well......not yet. They can happen at any time, just cross your fingers everytime you open it up. "
I love this- so true. Everytime I jump all over mine and then let off, this is the 1st thing that comes to my mind. We are always rolling the dice.

I always watch my A/F, IAT, and fuel pressure like it is a religion. If anything looks funny or different I go find out why. I had a big ordeal with my A/F this past month, one day I get a 10.8 to redline, then the next I get 10.8 until 6000 rpm and the A/F jumps to 20+. After many datalogs sent to the tuner it was determined the tune was fine and everything look spot on, so off to the dyno to check the A/F. Stupid wideband sensor crapped out on me. Had 11.4 A/F through the whole pull. Just watch your gauges and they will help you keep having lots of fun. One main thing I have heard that helps keep these blown 3V alive is keeping the pistons cool, that is why I love methanol inj. I have 100*F IAT at the end of a 1/4 mile run in 95*F weather, and 84*F in winter.
Its the part number for the AEM digital wideband. Cheap, looks great and works beautifully. Just bought my boyfriend one for Christmas to go with all the other AEM goodies.

Oh, thanks but the problem is that my sensor is old and has been in 3 race cars before it found it's way to my car. The LC1 controller works great, sensors eventually wear out.
