Steen racing was having a dyno day for a local Lightning Club today and I got a chance to throw the 05 up there. The car sits 100% stock right now. Anywho, I was told that most if the 05's that they had dynoed fell between 260-265.

So the time for the Silver Bullett to grace the dyno had come. Once it was maneuvered in placed the first pass yielded 272rwhp. Not bad and I was pleased to say the least with the power. Ed Clark (a major SCT tuner) was there and told me about the charcoal canister that sits in the intake tube and we removed it. On the second pass w/ out the canister my car turned the rollers to 276rwhp. That was a 4hp peak gain and across the power band I picked up as much as 7hp.

I was overjoyed with the results and headed home. On the way I ran into a CTS-V on the highway that had a license plate that said BAD CADI. Anyway, this guy got next to me honked and we hit it. This guy pulled like crazy and hurt my feelings! I knew that car had the Z06 motor in it but never expected it to walk my car the way he did.

That's it for now, hope that you guys agree that I got a strong 05.

Later
- Jesse

off topic, but is your forumname (id or whatever) your license plate too? I saw someone a mustang on the net that was supercharged and what not, that had that plate.

On topic, thats a pretty good pull for stock, this was done on dynojet dyno obviously, but still impressive. Dont think i have seen any 280+ for stock, so you are up there.

Yep, if you're stock, don't play with the LS6 club!

Now he gets to go home and talk about his luxury 4-door smoking some "kid" in his Mustang.

Great numbers though. Time for some mods!

Dynojet and I have a 5 speed car.

Fazm: It was my plate my 03 in Florida, and my screen name came from there. I got the idea from a car at Fun Ford Weekend that said 2L8ULUZ

I have an the Mac cai and a custom tune from Brent at DTP, my car runs alot better then it did when stock, I too raced a ctsv, from a dead stop I pulled a good car lenght on him and he never caught me, he let off when I hit about 80 he was about a car lenght behind me. So I guess were one for one.

That's in Hampton Road's VA isn't it??? I've been hearing of places cutting deals just for pulls around here for $50-60 for three pulls. I always hear about it too late though......

Yes they are in Norfolk. Jason's shop doesn't need to cut deals because they are so good at what they do. It's usually the other shops in the area that are trying to keep thier heads above water that offer specials. If you want really good quality work done to your car call Steen.
