Dyno numbers on Bamachips Tunes
Well I took my car to the dyno yesterday. I ran both my 93 torque and performance tunes from Doug to see what kind of numbers they would put up.

Black - 93 Torque
Blue - 93 Performance
Light Green - 93 Performance + 10 WOT
Darker Green - 93 Performance + 10 WOT with 5% load
Needless to say I'm going to have to work with Doug a little to tweak things. The A/F ratio on my Performance tune was way too lean. The torque tune was a little rich but pretty close to on the money. To everyone out there interested in getting an Internet tune for your car get it dyno'd ASAP. Every car is a little different and even though Doug has great tunes it doesn't mean that it's going to always be 100% on the first try.
Also just to make sure this doesn't turn into a flame war. I'm not knocking Doug or this work in any way. I know he stands behind what he does and will take the time to get my tunes right.

Wide Open Throttle - Now basically he was adding 10% more fuel to the tune since it was so lean to see what kind of power it could make it a good A/F.

Murry...i had the same problem with mine. I added 12% fuel at WOT to get my AF down to 13.2 at WOT. My dyno tuner tried to add timing at lower RPMs but the X2 wouldnt let it. We could only remove timing. All in all it is a decent tune ( i used the 93 performace tune with 4:10s) and i had 297 peak rwhp. All in all every car runs different so you really should check it on a dyno. Doug offerd for me to fax him my dyno sheet and he would make any changes i wanted. He is very helpful.

Hey guys,
The Torque tune is just where it needs to be actually, right around 12.5-12.8ish. The Torque is higher then the Performance tune and so it should be. This is why I break my Torque tune out from my Performance tune because it has better mid-upper torque but does displace a few HP, not alot.
I will adjust your tunes Murry and send them to you tonight, you have some excellent power though and I think once we get this squared away you'll really be shooting for the 300's. I may add a few degree's of timing to see if we can break that mark as well.
Thanks, Doug.

Hey, Doug, do you think I can see those type of numbers Saturday?
If I plan on pullies, should I go ahead and install them before the dyno run?
Sorry to hijack the thread, but I tried to call and email you. Just making sure you got the message.

Doug sent me an updated Performance tune last night. I'm going to try it this weekend. I don't know when I'll get back to the dyno so it might be a seat of my pants test.
