Drain holes for mufflers and rolled / double wall tips?

Another thread got me thinking about water drainage in the axle-back mufflers and double-walled tips. Do any of the manufacturers drill small holes to drain the water out of double-walled tips and the mufflers? I've had numerous aluminized mufflers fail from the inside out due to insufficient water drainage.

when i cut my stockers open and installed new tips i left a hole in the bottom of the tip so that water could drain out.

i did use double walled tips also.

its a good idea, although im not sure if any aftermarket mufflers have them.

Not a bad idea, I also drilled 3 small holes in the underside of my exterior mirror housings on my doors to allow water to escape versus blow out after a car wash.

Thats a good idea, I get sick of blowing all the water out with the air hose. And you have to completely flush them with water or soapy water will spot the car, so they always have a ton of water in them.

My buddy's 03' GT has a full magnaflow exhaust and he has one hole on the bottom side if the tips, kind of like a paper hole punch.
