Hey guys,
I've been looking around this week for some wheels to mount some slicks on with very little sucess. I've been told everything from 15's won't fit to you have to go with smaller brakes, which I nearly fell over laughing at.
Now I know I've tuned a few of you with 26X10.5's and 28X10 slicks so what wheels are you running? Ohh, and anything but Bogart, I have about $500 to spend on some wheels even if I only get the two rears. I can't even hardly get one Bogart for that.
Thanks, Doug.

Bogarts are so nice, and so would be 15"s. But Im not going through all that, thats what the race car is for, not this ride.
For me, until there is more of a choice, Im going with 16" wheels. Nothing fancy, they are black steel 16x7"s I found at the tirerack for 52 bucks a piece. They sell them as wheels under their "snow tire" packages.
Another 200 bucks to have then widened to 16x9"s. Not too bad, but will do until we have a variety of choices.
Tires I plan on using are M/T ET Streets 26x11.5x16.
Just my route for now

The 15" Bogarts are not a problem with the brakes. The only hangup with the 15" is the rear swaybar bracket that's under the shock tower. Powerhouse411.com now has a bracket to relocate the original which allows you to cut off that tab. They are costly, but the tire options is nice! I have a set of 26" ET street radials and 28" ET drag slicks that I use.
Originally, I bought a set of 17x10 Bullitts from MRT direct. Heavy, but they worked!

Those wheels were like $115 each. The only tire that will fit in M/T are the 26x11.5-17 ET streets or radials. No mods needed at all.
