Doug at Bamachips question?

Doug are you doing any tunes for the granatelli intake on 06 gt auto's? Just ordered one, and in the future was wondering if you are going to be offering sct tunes etc. Thanks doug for your responses. Also if you do a tune to them, will the stock MAF sensor have to go back in or will you still be able to use the modified MAF. Thanks

I sent Doug an email a week ago and his response was that he has one of their CAIs coming to him for dyno testing but he doesn't have it yet.

Yes, I plan on testing it both ways and tuning it both ways to see what I gain from it. I'm like everyon else though, waiting on the back order. If you have one you'd like for me to test though please let me know.

Thanks, Doug.

Hey doug,
I know I plan on seeing you in a few weeks, but was wondering if you ever recieved a gms cai yet. I recieved mine a few days ago. So I was hoping you may have tested one by now. I would love to get a tune for mine before you come to st. louis and then see what you can get out of it on a custom tune. Thanks for any info.

No, I canceled my order on the 3rd week of a back order, when I heard about others getting there's direct in just a few days.

I've seen another one locally and It looks exactly the same as a C&L and I called JR Granatelli and he said just to use a C&L transfer function with it so if you want one I can send you one with that adjustment for now and then fine tune it when I get there. As for using the MAF, the one I saw had a Stock MAF meter with a jumper harness with just a resistor in it. This fools the PCM by adjusting the voltage coming from the MAF to make the A/F close. Like the Ebay IAT sensor resistor mod.

I'll see you soon.

Thanks, Doug.
