I agree with you guys. I have the Borla Stingers on my car and it is the best-sounding exhaust system out there, IMHO.

 

I have the Roush off roads...Have heard they are really Borla Stingers with ROUSH stamped on them....Does anybody know for sure?

All I know is they do have a drone and when you drop the top, forget about the radio...

I don't get it...My biggest complaint with the stock exhaust was I couldn't hear them inside the car. I had a 2003 gt vert with glass packs that you could hear 2 blocks away and would rattle your freakin teeth. Hopefully soon I can get the O/R H pipes to make them louder. I love my Stingers, they have a great deep sound and the 4 inch rolled chrome tips that are stamped Ford Racing are the best looking tips out there...IMHO.

 

I wouldnt trade my stingers in for anything. They drone right at 2k but I never really find myself sitting at 2k in any gear. I dont drive 60mph exactly for any extended length of time. Im always at least going 70. Also when the windows are down the drone is really not noticeable. They sound so bad@ss its worth the little bit of drone. I posted videos a LONG time ago and have since pulled them down. I do still have them and I could post them if you are interested still.

 

I haven't heard the Stingers but if you don't want drone but still want sound out back, try Corsa's, I wouldn't have believed it till I head them with my own ears, so nice outside AND inside!

 

Do stingers drone? Does a bear S@#% in the woods? I could only take it for about a month and then i went with GTAs. recently got some Corsas to try out, think I'll be very happy with those...some GTA's will be up for sale soon!!!

My Corsas are broken in In rush hour today.....Heads turned everytime I moved,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, No drone and they don't hear me until :starwa rs: move

 

Borla's less than FRPP stingers but it's worth it.

 

off topic a bit, but has anyone used the borla 11752? This is the milder exaust from the singers. Im wondering how it compares to the GTAs. I want something lound at WOT but i dont want a lot of drone on my daily commute.

 

I drive at least 90 miles a day with them and love every minute.

You guys that have problems with them must be pretty sensitive to sound.

Sometimes I turn the stereo down just to listen to them.

 

 

Thanks for the responses. I ended up going with the Pypes Mid muffler. Ordered them Friday from Brenspeed.

 

I wear earplugs to kill the drone from my Pypes Violators. The earplugs also help reduce the effects of wind noise and road noise at highway speeds.

 

Your a smart man I recently switched from stingers to the PMM. The sound is very similar to the stingers but with half the drone...

 

drone is drone.why waste money unless you can find something w/ No drone..like Corsa's

 

Because you can get over 2 Pypes MM kits for the price of one set of Corsa's.

 

I've seen 3 sets of used corsas on different boards..Just seems like a waste IMO to spend money and still have drone

 

FRPP, I only hear a drone during a very light acceleration at cruising speed. None at constate speed. All in the ear of the beholder. Turn up stereo so as to not hear some drone, one could. My Wife turns stereo down, wants to hear it and of course WOT. It's her car.
