My cousin just got a Neuspeed Stainless Steel exhaust for his VW R32 and while it sounded good outside the car, inside the car the drone was intolerable for me. I drove around a parking lot in the car and I couldn't wait to get out.

The sound (drone to some) inside the Mustang is no where near this level of annoyance, to me.

My point being each person has their own tolerance and by not trying or at least going for a ride in a car with the FRPP/Borlas you are really missing out on a great sounding system.

I agree with this. I will not give up on my stingers. The sound is unbeatable. I get compliments from lots of people that say thats how a rod should sound. I just stated that I kept my OEM pair in case of long trips. The fact is I haven't switched back to OEM on trips because I like the sound. You can control what RPM you run, so if your in the mood for droan its there. If your not in the mood then just change what RPM you run in. Best sound IMO.

I would not ever give up the FRPP stingers. I can say that they are much louder and suspect more drone when you have a CAI attached and a tune from Brenspeed or Bama. I recently took off the CAI and tune and its significantly quieter. How can I tell for sure? My wife tells me its much quieter and she knows trust me lol

yeah, it does get louder with the intake, in a good way. also, it has that neat induction faint whistle... sounds nice. although, i much prefer the induction whistle of my turbo!
