I couldn't even break 14.0 tonight, I just spun all the way into 3rd. And for some reason I kept missing 4th(!) gear . How, I don't know, it's just straight down from third. I think I get anxious and pull the shifter slightly to the left while pulling down, thus completely missing 4th and luckily not going into 2nd. Tonight just made me mad, and any screw up on the track scares me more than one on the road simply because it happens on the track. There's just something about the track that freaks me out when things don't go smoothly.

 

I completely understand Chris. Sorry you didn't make it to 75-80 last weekend with John and I. I could only muster 13.9's to 14.0's with my setup. The track wasn't worth crap because of all the rain we've had the past week and a half.

I will eventually post a thread with my time breakdowns for help.

We'll get it straightened out.

 

Sounds like some drag radials may be in your future? Some nights things just don't work out the way they should.

I have one more track date next week at the final UMTR event here in Ohio at a very slick track. Last time out I too spun almost all the way down the track. Hopefully the cool weather with a sunny day will provide some better results.
