A different tire size question

Im from the 60s, I like a nice fore/aft rake on a car.

Im thinking about keeping my 235-55-17s on the front and going with a 235-65-17 on the rear. Same width, 1.8 inches taller. That with a rear drop should fill the rear tire gap but still give me the rake I want.

I drive around town @45mph. No twisties, no track time, no street racing.

Opinions.

I have 255/50 up front and 275/50 in the rear... about 3/4" difference in dia. Wheels are 17x9 all around.

I'm wanting the same look. Right now I'm looking at getting 18-9 bullitts with 285-50-18s they are 29.2 in. in dia. On a 18 in. rim my side wall hight will only increace by 1/2 in. My car is still on order so I don't know if they will fit. I have other obstacles like new silver bullitts and TPMS.But function will follow form.

The problem you will likely run into is availability of V rated tires in a 65 series tire.
