differences in suspension upgrades for roadtrack vs. 1/4 mile races

hi all,

what differences in suspension upgrades are there for good roadtrack handling to keep up with vettes and bmw's...versus 1/4 mile races?

thanks!

Genrally speaking, it depends, a good drag racing set-up is really all about weight transfer to the rear. A good handling set-up takes into consideration the forces generated in several directions including the rear. Really jack of all trades vs. a specialist.

There are SO many differences between setups, that it's really kind of hard to even start describing the differences. Spring rates, damper rates, swaybar (or lack thereof) sizing, alignment angles... the all differ radically between drag and track setups and tuning.
