Has anyone figured out if there is the hidden diagnostics mode for the 05?

On prior years, you could hold in the trip reset button with the car off, and the LEDs would go into detailed mode (diags straight out of the OBDII system), like digital tach, etc.

I tried playing around with the INFO, SETUP and RESET buttons, couldn't find any diag easter egg.

It does a system check if that is what you mean. I think you hit set-up, and it is the first selection before the "my color" mode.

Thanks, but that's not the equivalent of the old diagnostics mode.

Here is what I'm getting at:

This is great information. All facts. We need a whole lot more of this factual stuff and a huge reduction in B/S from those that think they know. I do not know how this huge B/S situation got started but there is nothing worst than bad information.

Thanks. I'm all for real facts now that we have the real cars and are capable of actually trying things out, as opposed to guessing!
