I have the Diablosport U7140 and just updated to r18. I tried to download a copy of the original backup file and discovered that this attempt and previous attempts were not saving anything. I assume the file extension is *.ori but I can't find anything on my hard drive. The Diablosport directory has only the downloader program and uninstall files. Nothing else. Help!

Hi,
Search your hard drive for a file with your CALID # and a .frg extension - that is your ori file backup

Your the man. Found it. The instructions say *.ori.

I encountered the same problem! Glad I'm not the only one. The ORI file was saved somewhere on my computer but God knows where. Cole and I searched and never did find it. DiabloSport finally sent me a original backup copy of what was in my vehicle. Only then could I properly send a Custom Tune to the Predator. DS Downloader must have put the file in a location I can't find. Even searched in hidden files & folders - but no luck.

Luckily the Predator itself still had the backup file, but I located the *.frg file backup in C:\. I think there is a bug in the latest rev of the PC software.

Which version of DS Downloader were you using? My problem was with the old version 1,0,1.0. Never tried it with the new version 1,2,6.0.

I just did it with the newest version, and it did the same thing. No .ori file to be found, but a .frg file in the C: Just to clarify, this file is 939kb and is my original factory tune, correct?
