Nick, I wanted to create this thread, rather than hijacking the other thread where I'd previously mentioned this to you. If you find out what the dealio is, could you post info in this thread?

Predator contains several predefined DiabloSport
Tunes. These are thoroughly tested and approved by
DiabloSport. You have a choice of either installing the
DiabloSport Tune ā€œas-isā€ into your vehicle, or customizing
it to your personal taste.
If you are satisfied with your factory tuned vehicle
and only have a desire to modify a parameter or two
(example: change gear ratio), you might want to read the

But the chapter "Customizing the Factory Tune" is nowhere to be found.

What juicy info are we missing?

 

You can not custom your stock tune unless you a dealer.But take the hp tune or 91 tune 93 tune and you can change stuff. What are you trying to do?

 

Well, per the paragraph, specifically the gear ratio. However, my main interest is in what else was supposed to be in that chapter.

I haven't hooked up my Predator yet (cos my car is languishing in car-repair purgatory!!!!!!!) and from the posts I've seen here and elsewhere, it looks like it's pretty easy to change things like gear ratios, tread diameter and all the other goodies I'll be doing. Just curious to see what was missed from the manual. I'm assuming that it's relevant stuff, else they wouldn't have written the chapter in first place?

Mods in the garage awaiting the return of the car are (in addition to the Predator) Steeda drop-in (ok, so that'll not need anything as far as tuning goes), Steeda u/d pulleys and FRPP gears. I've also changed my rims/rubber and need to account for that.

 

Has anyone been able to turn traction control off (Pg 8 under Modify Paramters) ?
I installed the 91 Oct tune and when I go to Modify Parameters there is no option for traction control.
