I while back I bought a CAI for my old '05 V6 Mustang from C & L and traded that car in, my question is can I covert the tuner from a '05 V6 to a '07 GT tuner. I would like to be able to reuse the tuner for my '07 GT.

 

07 Mustangs use the newer part #U7145, whereas the 2005 & 6 used part #U7140. Different programmer is required - sorry!

If its the CL7140 model and if fully updated it will work on all 05-08 Mustangs, If is the U7140 it only works on 05/06 mustangs. I confirmed this through C&L directly!

 

Thanks for the update, I do have the CL7140 unit so I guess I will need to find out how to update the unit since the Diablosport site shows only the U7140 unit. I am going to call C & L on Monday to find out how to get the unit updated to the lastest release.

Thanks I have updated my unit with the lastest updates, so now all I need to do is to save up for the CAI for it.
