FYI for anyone thinking of getting the Diablo Predator who has also/or are thinking about changing their pulleys (ie. Steeda pulleys), the owners manual warns against this. I emailed Diablo regarding this and they very quickly responded -

"ANSWER:
Dear,

You can use the Predator however I suggest tuning the car on the Dyno
to make sure you have a safe tune. You must check your A/f ratio and
check for detonation.

Thank you for your interest in DiabloSport!"

This may be obvious to some, but for others, thought this might serve as a useful piece of info prior to throwing down for either component.

 

That doesn't sound right......ud pullies don't affect a/f ratio? That's a strange thing for Diablo to say - wonder what that's all about?

 

that is a carry over from the older mustangs IE 03 and 04 cobras they are talking about the supercharger pulleys

That's the response I got from Nick at Diablo (other forum). He says u/drive's should be fine. My initial inquiry DID state specifically Steeda u/drive pulleys, but I guess the first response was addressed toward the warning in the user manual, rather than my question.

Even though there was some confusion, kudos to Diablo for their customer service and response time. I've spoken to a number AM companies and it's sometimes been a painful process trying to get any info out of them.
