Who else besides me either had or still has the defective set of Eibach Pro Kit springs? I have had mine for quite a while now, and have been having trouble replacing them. How did you get yours replaced if you did? I have been talking directly with them for awhile now, and have not really gotten anywhere. They keep saying that they are being sent out, but they have not been sent out. Anyone else have similar problems? Let me know. Thanks.

Basically, when the prototype set of 50 was made, they ends of the springs were not quite right. They ended up selling these 50, and lucky me, I got one of them. It now slides around when turning the wheel, making a creaking noise, that is really annoying. I have even replaced my strut mount bearing, and it still happened. It did stop though for awhile after I had taken both springs off, and tightened them down real good, and readjusted them. It came back shortly after though.

That stinks. Did you talk to the vendor you bought them from? Generally that is what the manufacturer prefers. If you have not done so get a hold of them and see if they can help.

I did talk to the dealer where I bought them, and they haven't been that much help either. They needed to talk to the distributor, who had to talk to Eibach! Then, the dealer said that I would probably have to buy another set from them, they would send my set to Eibach, and then I would get the money back from them. That I will not do.

did anyone notice how much space is left in the rear between the bump stop and the plate? it looks like about 2 inchs. Anyone cut the bump stop in the back shorter? Is there a replacement for the back to give more leeway?

bottom line.. you dealer has to take care of the problem...
they are the ones to replace the springs...
i though i had bad ones too... my rear sits up a bit to high.. and i called eibach and then the dearler that i bought them from...
they had me check the numbers on the springs and they were fine... but they still offered to replace them...
so now i'm just waiting for them to settle a bit before i take action..
but again the bottom line is the dealer should replace them...
where did you get them from?

I bought my springs a Mobil 1 World Ford Challange last year. I had them installed and then I started to here a noise when I back up, usually after the car has sat all night or if I skip a day of driving I hear it. Could this be the problem I have?

Mine sounds like a loose spring or strut but when i crawl under and tug on everything its all tight and snug. I think it might be the sway bar contacting the panhard bar maybe something like that im going to see if i can adjust it to see

DO NOT CUT THE BUMPSTOPS They are Hydra filled just like the engine mounts and the control arm bushings.
